A red wine from Álora has for the second year running been named Spain’s best ‘supermarket’ wine, in the new 2018 edition of the Supervinos guide. Vega del Geva Crianaza (€10.35, sold only at El Corte Inglés) from Álora’s Pérez Hidalgo winery won top prize in the ‘megavinos’ category, which lists wines under €14.99 a bottle. Also, the winery’s Flor Floris white moscatel wine (€8.25) came in at number seven.
