A man described as around 60 years old suffered a broken leg and other injuries in a violent pre-dawn robbery at his Cártama home last Thursday. He was reportedly woken by three masked men who beat him with a shovel before tying and gagging him as they searched the house and made off with over €2,000 in cash. He was found at around 1pm that day by a family member. The Guardia Civil are investigating.
