The head of the CCOO trade union for Ronda’s new hospital, Carmen María Sánchez, has called for telephone operators at the facility to be moved from their location in the lobby, after a staff member was the victim of ‘verbal agression’ from a hospital user on April 16. Sánchez said the situation didn’t escalate but added that the operators should be moved as people think they are there to provide information, which “provokes the impatience” of those waiting for calls to be answered.
