Granada University has been accused of discriminating against Muslims by planning this year’s graduation ceremony during Ramadan. The complaint has been raised by Caballas, the main opposition party in Ceuta, which says the date of June 17 is “illogical” in a city where, “50% of the population is Muslim.” The ceremony is set for 8.30pm, just before Muslims are permitted to break their daily fast.
