A 51-year-old officer belonging to Cataluña’s Mossos d’Esquadra police force has been arrested, for allegedly puncturing the wheels of fifty trucks by laying a spiked plate along a stretch of the AP-7 near his home in Montmeló. The damage to a number of trucks on December 1 was attributed to debris on the road, but after dozens more were damaged on December 5 an investigation opened and the man was found caught on camera.
