Trial Suspended

The trial of former Casares mayor Juan Sánchez for alleged town planning-related corruption was scheduled to start on Monday of this week, but was suspended until March to allow defence attorneys time to study documentation related to phone-tap evidence in the case. Eight other people, including three former councillors, face charges along with Sr Sánchez.
