Spain is heading for another record tourist year with 11.6% more people than last year visiting the country in the first six months. The National Statistics Office said on Monday that the total of 36.37 million included 8.6 million from the UK, up 9.1% on last year, and 5.5 million from Germany, up 10%. Last year was Spain’s fourth consecutive year of record tourist numbers.
