Over 500 tools valued at €17,000 have been stolen from a municipal workshop in Benamargosa. Mayor José Gallego said the thieves have left the town without equipment which is used to carry out daily tasks. The vandals also broke into a kiosk at the neighbouring municipal swimming pool but apparently took nothing.
