The Alhaurín el Grande council last week approved a freeze on taxes for the third consecutive year, meaning it will implement no rate hikes on municipal taxes for 2017. It also gave the green light to allowing the splitting of an IBI property tax bill into separate bills for distinct owners in cases where more than one person shares ownership of a property.
