People selling their property in Fuengirola will not have to pay the ‘plusvalía’ capital gains tax to the town hall if they are selling their property for a price beneath its value, thanks to a new measure approved by councillors last week. Spain’s Constitutional Court annulled the tax, if there is no economic gain for the vendor, in May, but officials said that whilst the central government is changing legislation, they will paralyse the tax payment.
