Benalmádena town hall has announced that beginning next year it will provide a 95% discount on property capital gains tax when a home is inherited by a widow or widower from a deceased spouse. The discount will apply to registered (‘empadronado’) residents of the town, and only if the home is the primary residence of the surviving spouse.
