Guardia Civil officers rescued a woman who was threatening to commit suicide by jumping from a 10th-floor balcony of a building in Mijas Costa, said officials last week. Officers called to the scene in the early hours of January 25 found the woman perched outside the railing and talked to her for around 20 minutes until one of them was able to grab her and pull her back inside.
