The Valle del Genal village of Júzcar is to get a new lick of blue paint, after the local council announced that Sony, the producers of The Smurfs movies, and other sponsors had agreed to invest €70,000 in repainting the town. Júzcar first went blue in 2011, the same year it played host to The Smurfs 2 film premiere. The repainting will begin in September and end in December.
