A waiter working at a beach restaurant in Salobreña was knocked unconscious last week when he was struck by parasol which had been lifted into the air by a strong gust of wind. The incident caused chaos and consternation as the victim was stretchered away. He came to and was taken to hospital in Motril for a medical check-up and observation.
