A week-long alcohol and drugs crackdown on Spain’s roads continues until Sunday. Checkpoints are being concentrated on secondary roads where 80% of accidents are recorded. Statistics show that high alcohol or drugs levels, and sometimes both, are found in over a third of drivers killed in crashes.
