The Sindicato Médico de Málaga union last week slammed the Marítimo hospital in Torremolinos as one of the “greatest shames of the Andalucía health service”. It criticised deficiencies in the buildings, a lack of cleanliness and other problems, and said the recently announced plan for roof repairs and other upgrades is “nothing more than a patch job”.
