Mijas town hall has begun the process of ceding a plot of land to the Junta de Andalucía for a new secondary school in Las Lagunas. The site, selected by the Junta from three that were offered by the town hall, is adjacent to the plot where construction is set to begin on the new Indira Gandhi primary school, which is scheduled for completion in 2017. No date has been set for building the secondary school.
