The Gibraltar government has published a bill to amend the civil Marriage Act to allow same-sex civil marriages. During a public consultation period, the draft version of the bill received the greatest ever number of responses to proposed legislation on the Rock, with 3,490 comments. The final bill will now be debated in Parliament once six weeks have passed since its publication.
