A 40-year-old woman died and three other people were injured in a head-on collision between two cars on the A-357 in Pizarra on Friday afternoon. One of the injured was trapped and had to be cut free by the emergency services. Tail-backs built up in both directions while the road was closed to traffic during the rescue.
