The Andalucía health service’s Salud Responde smartphone app, which allows users to make appointments with their GP or paediatrician, has seen a huge popularity boost in Málaga province. Last year it was used to make or cancel 3.3 million appointments, up 65% from 2015, and nearly 245,000 people in the province have now downloaded the app.
