Cártama’s town council last week gave unanimous approval to a €3 million plan for an indoor swimming pool complex at the municipal sports centre. It is the largest project ever to be financed solely by the municipality itself. The complex will include two pools, a gym, changing rooms, a café, shop and other facilities, and will take 15 months to build.
