Police and Guardia Civil officers arresting a suspect in La Línea de la Concepción last Friday were pelted with rocks and shouted at by a group of around 50, said officials. They had chased the man down after he fled when officers arrived on the scene of a drug-landing at a local beach. It was the latest in a series of violent incidents against officers battling drug-trafficking in the zone.
