The death of a 47-year-old Torre del Mar man in Málaga’s Carlos Haya hospital has been reported to the prosecutor by the Patients’ Ombudsman. The information claims he was waiting for a bed in the Intensive Care unit when he died after being transferred from Vélez-Málaga Hospital. He allegedly waited over 12 hours, which the Ombudsman described as “clear negligence.”
