An eight-year-old girl was taken to hospital in Málaga on Saturday after being saved from drowning in a community swimming pool in the Teatinos district. The emergency services were alerted at 2.35pm and the child, showing “symptoms of drowning,” was rushed to the Hospital Materno Infantil. She was later reported to be stable and remained under observation.
