The two tax office inspectors who worked with police on the Malaya corruption investigation are now to be appointed to a team being created to root out hidden assets of those who were sentenced to large fines and who have not yet paid. The dozens of people convicted in the case were issued fines totalling more than €500 million, though the amount still unpaid has not been made public.
