A British man who forced an Easyjet flight to Málaga to return to Bristol has been jailed for eight months. The court heard he drank two bottles of duty-free wine before becoming violent and threatening to “stab and punch” the pilot and to “knife the air hostess and kill everyone on board.” The aborted flight cost the airline tens of thousands of pounds.
