Three youths aged between 18 and 26 have been arrested by national police in Antequera after stealing a car from the Córdoba town of Lucena – and leaving it abandoned on the A-45 motorway after it burst into flames. It is unclear why the car caught fire, but the trio left the vehicle and were found by officers in a nearby olive grove. They face possible charges of motor vehicle theft, crimes against traffic safety and attacking a law enforcement officer.
