There has been a “mutiny” at four of Málaga’s fire stations, as they raised Jolly Roger pirate flags on Tuesday following a breakdown in negotiations between the Andalucían fire-fighters union (SAB) and Málaga town hall two weeks ago. The flags were hoisted at four locations: the central station on Paseo Martiricos, in the Teatinos and Pirámides areas and in Churriana. The union has disassociated itself from the flag-raising, but said that mobilisations are on the way.
