Gibraltar’s Victoria Stadium is to be redeveloped into a UEFA Category 4 stadium, allowing Gibraltar to play its international games there beginning next year, as well as host Champions and Europa League matches. Gibraltar currently has to play its internationals in Portugal. The government is to sell the existing stadium for €16.5 million to Gibraltar’s FA, which will spend €15 million on renovating it.
