Gibraltar emergency services last Thursday night came to the rescue of two Spanish boaters in distress after receiving a call from Spain’s Coast Guard reporting the incident in waters near the rock. Gibraltar search vessels found the boat at 11.05pm with nobody onboard, and a subsequent search of the area located the two boaters drifting at sea. They were treated at hospital for hypothermia and discharged.
