It has been alleged that the tripartite administration in Vélez-Málaga has paid out almost €182,000 in illegal payments to employees. The opposition Partido Popular claimed last week that these constitute a “fraud in law.” Councillor Juan Carlos Márquez responded that the payments fully comply with the law and are cheaper than paying for hours worked as overtime.
