The court in the case of Lucía Garrido, who was killed at her Alhaurín de la Torre home in 2008, has decided to maintain charges against her ex-husband when the case goes to trial by jury, despite the public prosecutor’s office recently indicating it would bring no charge against him. The private prosecution brought by the victim’s family accuses him of instigating her murder. The alleged killer and three other men will also be tried.
