A 48-year-old Belgian resident of Vélez-Málaga died in a traffic accident on the N-340 near Almuñécar on Saturday, February 24. His body was found trapped in his car which had left the road, crashed into a traffic signal and come to rest on a slope. Police say there were no skid marks on the road and think the victim may have taken ill or fallen asleep.
