Two men, one Spanish and the other of French nationality and north African origin and both with police records, have been arrested in Mijas after they were stopped at a traffic checkpoint and officers discovered that the Mercedes car they were driving was stolen and there was €50,000 in cash in a bag in the boot. The driver claimed both the car and money belonged to a friend.
