A 34-year-old Dutch man wanted by authorities in Belgium in connection to drug-trafficking was detained on a European arrest warrant by the National Police at his home on Benalmádena’s Avenida Antonio Machado, on July 20. According to the police report, the man allegedly held a high position in a criminal gang which imported large amounts of cocaine and heroin into Belgium in shipping containers between 2011 and 2013.
