Officials last week inaugurated the newly enlarged sewage treatment plant in Estepona. The €35 million project saw the plant’s capacity nearly tripled, from 35,000 to 100,000 cubic metres daily. While in Málaga province for the inauguration, central and regional government officials signed a protocol for a total of €790 million in spending on 149 wastewater treatment projects in Andalucía up to the year 2021.
