HM Customs in Gibraltar was involved in two anti-drug operations on a single day last week. Three bales of cannabis, weighing a total of 90 kilos with an estimated value of £495,000, were recovered from the sea on the East side on Monday. In a separate incident that day, the Customs Marine Unit was involved in high-speed chase of suspected drug runners, who fled out of Gibraltar waters, where the Guardia Civil took over.
