Three men have been arrested in Extremadura on suspicion of belonging to a criminal gang based in Cáceres which stole and sold hunting dogs. Investigators said the group had been operating on a “national level.” Thirteen galgos, similar to greyhounds, including a champion of “great economic value,” were rescued and were taken to kennels to await being reunited with their owners.
