RESIDENTS in neighbouring coastal towns are experiencing different treatment over important infrastructure projects to eliminate flooding.
In Torrevieja, the municipality’s water company Agamed is embarking on ambitious schemes to install drainage on streets which turn into rivers during heavy rain.
However, in neighbouring Orihuela Costa, the town hall presented a drainage revamp plan this week – but admitted it does not have the funds to do carry out the work.
