Malaya corruption case kingpin and former Marbella town planning boss Juan Antonio Roca, who has been in prison for over a decade, has been granted third-grade inmate status allowing him daytime release from prison, during which he will collaborate with the Cáritas charity, assisting with its programme to help prisoners re-enter society. Sr Roca’s multiple convictions were lumped into a maximum overall sentence of 20 years.
