Spain’s Confederation of Bus Transport has lost its claims of unfair competition against BlaBla Car. A Madrid court ruled on Friday that the ride-sharing website was not providing the services of a transport company. BlaBlaCar had argued that it is not a transportation undertaking but a social network which brings drivers and passengers together to share costs, from which it takes a fee.
