After a total ban on tables and chairs outside bars in four city centre streets (CDSN last week), Málaga has awarded five licences for terraces in two areas. However, the size of the space they occupy has been reduced from their previous areas. Discussions are continuing with other business owners to find a compromise which meets their requirements and the safety concerns of the authorities.
