A couple accused of causing the death of a three-year-old child who they were caring for in their Marbella home in 2014 are scheduled to go on trial in June. The couple had taken in the boy on a contract with his mother, who was unable to care for him. The child allegedly suffered repeated physical abuse. The prosecutor is seeking 15 years in prison for each of the accused and €120,000 compensation for the mother.
