MORE than 1,000 of the Costa del Sol’s legally registered taxis still do not accept payment by credit or debit card. New data from the latest Junta de Andalucía tourist survey has shown that Málaga province’s taxis are the highest rated in the region, scoring 9 out of 10 – well above the average of 8.1 for Andalucía’s other provinces. But despite this, there is one field in which Málaga’s taxis lag behind – paying by card.
