Marbella’s residents to have their voices heard

MARBELLA townsfolk will be able to have their say on the projects that will see two million euros of investment from 2017’s municipal budget, after the local council announced the town’s first ever participatory budgeting process. The initiative was presented last week by local councillors Manuel Osorio and Miguel Díaz, who said that it will “give residents the real possibility to propose and decide the fate of a portion of public funds”.
