THE CYD Santa María horse and animal refuge in Alhaurín el Grande has put out an urgent appeal for donations to buy food for the 60 horses and 90 other animals in its care.
The refuge, which just celebrated its 10th anniversary, is struggling to provide adequate food for the animals in its care after some large-scale rescues have pushed it to capacity.
Donations for hay, alfalfa and other feed can be made via the refuge’s website at www.asociacioncydsantamaria.es/donar-comida.
