Spain’s disappearing glaciers

In 1984 a total of 40 glaciers graced the slopes of high mountain areas of Spain’s Pyrenees – now there are just 19.

According to geographer at País Vasco university, Ibai Rico, global warming could mean that all the glaciers in the Pyrenees will have disappeared in 30 years’ time.
