THE PLANNED second runway at Alicante-Elche airport needs to take into account the environmentally protected status of Agua Amarga salt marsh and allow for future urban growth of Torrellano, Elche city hall has insisted.
The current plans would be a ‘significant attack on environmental values and resources’, they claim.
