Cracking up – counting the cost of civic centre debacle

Four year after it was forced to close due to structural damage, Orihuela town hall is now going to draw up plans to repair the Ramón de Campoamor civic centre in Orihuela Costa.

One of only two public buildings in the municipality’s coast area, it provided a valuable resource for many community associations, as well as a library, during the few years it was open.
