Guardia Civil, local police officers and firefighters teamed up to rescue a man from heavy seas at the rocky Cala de La Higuera cove in Torrevieja yesterday evening.
A local police spokesman noted that the man, who was speaking in Russian, was suffering from hypothermia and cuts and bruises from the rocks.
